Washington, D.C. — A new online video is raising some eyebrows about the impact of President Donald Trump’s administration on the internet and what you can do to avoid becoming a victim.
The video, “The Truth About Donald Trump,” released Monday by the advocacy group Stop Trump, uses a series of clips from interviews with people who have experienced the president’s presidency.
The videos include the former president himself, former Vice President Joe Biden, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, and former Republican National Committee Chair Matt Bevin.
In one video, Bayh says the video was taken in January of this year, shortly after Trump took office, and he doesn’t recall much of the new administration.
Bayh told the Center for Public Integrity that he was surprised by the video, and said he was shocked that he could still be watching it.
The documentary follows former New Hampshire Republican Governor Maggie Hassan as she interviews people who said they had experienced the administration, including the former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus.
In an interview with Hassan, Bayher said he didn’t feel he was at the table in the Oval Office with the new president, but that the experience made him feel “in a lot of ways that this was not a real job.”
The documentary ends with Bayh telling the narrator that the best advice he could give him is “not to be a victim.”
The Trump administration has been criticized for not doing enough to rein in abuses of power, including its decision to remove protections for some federal employees, which some have called a step backwards for civil rights.
