In 2018, Blizzard released the first-person shooter Overwatch: The Burning Abyss, which took the game in a different direction.
The next title in Blizzard’s Overwatch series, Overwatch: Legacy, was first announced in 2018, and it was followed in 2019 by Overwatch: Rise of the Triumvirate, which also took the title into the next generation.
The Overwatch series was also included in Activision Blizzard’s 2017 Blizzard Bundle.
